Midnight In Death, Anthology

Midnight in Death (In Death, #7.5)

Eve’s name has made a Christmas list, but it’s not for being naughty or nice. It’s for putting a serial killer behind bars. Now the escaped madman has her in his sights. With her husband, Roarke, at her side, Eve must stop the man from exacting his bloody vengeance—or die trying. (jdrobb.com - All Books).

I was surprised at how much information was crammed into this short 76 page book! It was pretty intense for an anthology and definitely kept me turning the pages, hungry for more.

The serial killer starts his reign of terror on Christmas and taunts Eve with names of his future victims. I was not expecting some of what happened toward the end, and was literally at the edge of my seat for the few final chapters. It was a very exciting read. Again, I cannot say too much since the story is short and any information will give away the best parts of the book.

You could probably read it during your lunch break at work - it's that quick and short :)
