J.D. Robb's In Death series is my favorite series among the multitude of murder/mystery novels I read. Eve Dallas is the fiercest (if that's even a word) character in fiction EVER and she simply rocks.
This is book is the 18th in the series and there are tons more.
In this book, Eve has to defend her husband's employee who is the prime suspect in a double homicide. As always, it was nail-biting to the end. I found out more about Roarke, his assistant Caro, and Dr. Mira in this book. It was great to look into the other characters lives :)
